VIENNA HIGHLIGHTS
MOZART'S FOOTSTEPS, IMPERIAL SPLENDOR AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES - ENTERTAINING CITY TOUR OF VIENNA'S HIGHLIGHTS
Visiting Vienna for the first time and looking for an overview of the most important sights? Vienna's highlights are impressive, especially when they are presented in such an entertaining and gripping way as on our highlight tour.
At the beginning of our tour, it's time to bent your head back, because the colorful roof and the high tower of the gigantic St. Stephen's Cathedral are particularly impressive. Can you guess what's in the golden ball at the very top? Incidentally, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart got married in the cathedral and lived directly in the alley behind it. We want to know - what was he like, the famous composer? We continue through enchanting alleyways and across picturesque squares. Tradition and modernity meet at Neuer Markt Square, even the fountain statues here are used to changing thanks to Maria Theresa. We pass the State Opera House and the Albertina on our way to the Imperial Palace, the center of Habsburg power for over 600 years. We admire the pompous architecture and are amused by life at court with Emperor Franz Joseph and his famous Sisi. What do you do with so many rooms today without an imperial family? They certainly left their horses behind and so we briefly greet the famous Lipizzaner stallions of the Spanish Riding School. At the latest at Heldenplatz Square, with its panoramic view of the magnificent Ringstrasse, we have really arrived - in magnificent Vienna!
