Vienna around 1900 is a dizzying dance on the precipice: debauched eroticism, consumerism and sexual escapades on the one hand, gruesome murders, scandalous crimes and the abysses of the soul on the other. On this tour through Vienna's old town, we immerse ourselves in this exciting time, encounter a murderer of women with complexes at St. Stephen's Cathedral and shudder at a notorious murderous couple in the winding alleyways. We are amused by scandals at the Sacher and the amorous entanglements of State Chancellor Metternich at the Hofburg. But beware: the chancellor's informers were everywhere!

Meanwhile, high society met in the salons of the Ringstrasse - with the dazzling salonières as uncrowned queens. But which femme fatale turned everyone's head around 1900? Step by step, this tour also gives us a picture of the most important events in this period full of political tensions and upheavals in architecture, painting and music.
