HIDDEN VIENNA
HIDDEN, ENCHANTED AND WINDING - THROUGH VIENNA'S PICTURESQUE ALLEYS AND BACKYARDS
We know it well, the hustle and bustle of Vienna at weekends! We are all the more surprised at how quickly we can immerse ourselves in a different world on this tour by turning twice. Suddenly it becomes quiet, we wander through picturesque little alleyways and discover magical perspectives! From St. Stephen's Cathedral, this relaxed tour takes us through hidden courtyards and passageways via Fleischmarkt, Judengasse to the Schottenstift monastery and finally to the university. Vienna's great musicians accompany us, in Mozart's case even including the most famous kick in the butt in music history!
We discover green oases and unknown churches. We learn more about the typical "Pawlatschen" balconies in Vienna, the history of city lighting and meet legendary monsters and architects who were downright revolutionary in the backyard! Why did Beethoven fall out with his landlord at the university? And how did the architect Kornhäusel ensure peace and quiet at home? After this entertaining tour, we know our way around!
