SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

17 goals in just 2 hours? Yes – and right in the heart of Vienna! Together, we set out to bring the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to life. Instead of dry theory, this tour is all about thinking and talking along. Life on land and life in water? In the city park, we immerse ourselves in the world of biodiversity: what do trees, bats, fish, and sustainable energy supply have in common?
We continue towards St. Stephen's Cathedral and meet an educational pioneer in Viennese history along the way – who has the SDG cards on education and equality at hand? At the Neuer Markt, we take a look into the future: What does a climate-friendly city look like where everyone can live healthily – and what does the Kapuzinergruft have to do with it? Surprises guaranteed!
Mobility is the big issue on Ringstrasse. When it was built, working conditions were precarious. Is everything better today? Finally, at Karlsplatz in front of the Vienna University of Technology, we bring together all our impressions: architecture, technology, creativity – building blocks for a sustainable future? After two hours full of discoveries, exciting stories, and a look beyond Austria's borders, one thing is clear: we have achieved them all – the 17 sustainability goals, right in the middle of Vienna and with us as part of the solution!
